Job Title: Software Tester
Reports To: Director of Product Implementation
Based at: Ogden, UT
Salary: $10-12/hour
Hours: Part-time
Job Purpose: To plan, execute, and evaluate software tests conducted on various product applications across a variety of platforms. Evaluate results and give recommendations based on system/product performance.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- The ability to test and recognize software bugs and/or problems.
- Document each step of the testing process.
- Plan and prepare for product testing.
- Maintain a steady testing rate.
Self-driven, result oriented individual who will see projects through to completion. Someone who is forward-looking and can critically assess his or her own performance. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and understanding the importance of their role in the organization. This individual will be working along side other testing technicians and will interact with members of the management staff.
