JOB TITLE: Technical Support Specialist

DESCRIPTION: Technical Support Specialist will work as part of a team. Their primary responsibility is handling incoming support requests through phone, email and web inquiry. Candidate must possess excellent customer service and people skills, and be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Candidate must also possess excellent software troubleshooting skills. Our support staff hours of operation cover a 12 hour period Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM MST we operate 2 shifts one 6 AM to 3PM and the other 9AM to 6PM. These shifts rotate every two weeks.

Technical Support Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with customers by phone and email.
  • Documenting problem calls using call-desk software.
  • Answering operational questions related to software, Op System, hardware and networking.
  • Connecting to customers system via VPN and FTP.
  • Diagnosing and debugging software problems.
  • Performing project related programming tasks
  • Communicating effectively and working in conjunction with other staff members to address customer requirements.
  • Working independently in day-to-day operations. We will provide technical training but we are looking for an individual who can grow into a position of increased responsibility.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Associate Degree Computer Programming
  • Minimum of 1 year proven customer service experience
  • Technical talents for learning and understanding current software technologies.
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • The ability and desire to:
