JOB TITLE: Sales Associate

DESCRIPTION: The Sales Associate is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing customer relationships. The job involves account management and outside sales. It can also involve some travel for trade show networking, and direct meetings with key accounts.
Sales Associate Responsibilities Include:
- Primarily responsible for handling incoming inquiries from customers and other sales team members. In order to be successful, the associate must understand the proposed use for system, identify the customer's needs, provide information, follow up, develop accurate price quotes, and close sales.
- Communicating effectively and working in conjunction with other staff members to address customer requirements.
- Communicating with both new and existing customers by phone, fax, email and regular mail.
- Reporting to management, providing sales data, forecasts, and account management data.
- Conducting product demonstrations, and presentations in small and large group settings.
- Must possess the ability to work independently in day-to-day operations. We will provide technical training but we are looking for an individual who can grow into a position of increased responsibility.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience/customer management.
- Successful track record of building strong business relationships.
- Innate talent for learning and understanding current software technologies.
- Understanding of promotional activities, product lines and competitive positioning
- Strong customer service focus
- Good organizational and presentation skills
- Goal orientation and high motivation for success.
- Demonstrated desire to win with the ability to positively impact an organization though leading by example
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, and competency in Microsoft Office products
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- The ability and desire to:
