Throughout the last thirty years, the DAKCS Software Systems team has worked to provide the latest in technological options for their client base. The initial package was The Sting, a text and menu based system that even today continues to work effectively for many of the existing clients. DAKCS continues to support this system.
In the early 2000s, The DAKCS development team began working on a new software solution, Beyond.net. This system is client/server based with a preferred operating system of Red Hat ES Linux. On the client side, Beyond.net is Windows based, GUI that works in a simple point and click fashion. Collectors learn the system in one day, making training a very simple task.

If you were to ask what FEATURE clearly differentiates DAKCS from the pack, the answer would be “flexibility!” The Beyond collection software system was designed with flexibility in mind. Over and over again, agency owners told the team that they wanted the ability to design their own screens and create their own reports without DAKCS’ support involvement. As a result, DAKCS clients can now create their collector work screens to look as they wish (color, fields, logos etc). In addition, although there are literally hundreds of “canned” reports available in the system, customers have the option to create and schedule their own reports without the need for “custom work.”
